ELBA is a 200+ members business association that promotes business services, tourism, and economic development throughout the Smith Mountain Lake region. It is also interested in historic preservation and partnerships with other tourism offices and chambers of commerce to effect a positive change throughout the region. Since 2001, Word. has assisted ELBA with marketing, resource development, and special project coordination.  Word. currently serves as the organization's Executive Director.

Word. Marketing co-produced this summer 2008 concert series on Smith Mountain Lake.  Featured artists included Sara Evans, Blake Shelton, Diamond Rio, Grand Funk Railroad, and Styx.  Nearly 12,000 people enjoyed the concert series and it was voted a Best Concert and Best Festival by readers of Roanoke.com.

Craddock Oaks is Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia's newest Golf and Lake Community.  With plans for 18 holes of world-class golf, homes, townhomes, and condos, Craddock Oaks offers affordable Lake living with all of the amenities.  Ask about Craddock Oaks' "Affordable Green" plans.

Realty World Properties formed in September 2007 after a merger with EastLake Real Estate. With over 20 award-winning realtors, Realty World Properties has listed and sold nearly $200,000,000 in real estate throughout the greater Smith Mountain Lake region, including Roanoke, Lynchburg, and Bedford. Word. works with the Realty World agents to strategize on unique marketing methods for acquiring listings, lead conversion, and the sale of properties.

Since its merger with Realty World Properties, EastLake Real Estate continues to manage the hospitality division of Mariners Landing Resort Community and Conference Center on Smith Mountain Lake. With 7500 square feet of banquet space, award-winning on site catering, and over 150 condo units for spacious and affordable overnight accommodations, Mariners Landing hosts events up to 250 guests. A new 20,000 square foot executive conference center is on the drawing board for 2008-2009. Since 2002, Word. has assisted ELRE with marketing, public relations, event coordination, and web development.

Couples and Kids is Central Virginia’s most successful non-profit, family-oriented counseling center designed to address the needs of adults and children in our community who struggle with the challenges of daily living. Since 2000, Word. has assisted Couples and Kids with grant writing, image consulting, special event coordination and brochure development.

FETCH! is a fantastic non-profit initiative that raises funds and awareness regarding canine cancer.  Right now they are promoting a second season of "Pups on Parade" where businesses purchase a "pup" to be decorated by local artists and displayed throughout the year at various venues in Richmond.
